On behalf of the Organising Committee, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for the PENSA 2009 Congress to be held from 5th to 7th June 2009.
The PENSA 2009 is hosted by the Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition Societies of Asia (PENSA), the Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition Society of Malaysia (PENSMA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Health Malaysia along with support from Tourism Malaysia.
This is the second time PENSA is hosted in Kuala Lumpur; the first was in 1999 – the 5th PENSA Congress. Kuala Lumpur is a thriving modern multicultural metropolis that offers all the comforts of home and yet provides you with a myriad of different traditions, cultures, smells, tastes and cuisines.
PENSA 2009 follows the 12th PENSA that was held in Manila, Philippines in 2007, with a robust and broad scientific programme. The scientific programme is our star
and includes plenary sessions, symposia, a direct live telecast session as well as pre-congress workshops. Our Faculty are from all corners of the globe and the entire congress is devoted to bringing you the very latest in the field of clinical nutrition.
I take great pleasure in inviting the clinical nutrition community – doctors, nurses, pharmacists, dietitians, pharmacy assistants, postgraduate students and all stakeholders in healthcare – to the PENSA 2009 Congress. Participants will also enjoy the exotic venue, Kuala Lumpur, an intriguing Eastern cultural blend of tradition with the very finest of Western comforts.
